Index-Catalogue of Medical and Veterinary Zoology
This historic compendium of the parasitological literature contains references from the beginning of recorded parasitology literature to the end of the index in 1982. The ICMVZ "... continues to be a key resource to researchers for parasitology, re-emerging diseases, neglected tropical disease, zoonoses, global animal health, and one health / one medicine."

WikiVet - Veterinary Education Online (Requires free registration, restricted to Atlantic Veterinary College students, faculty and staff) "...a collaborative initiative between the UK Vetschools to provide a comprehensive on-line veterinary knowledge database authenticated by expert reviewers." WikiVet also provides access to Vetstream, a clinical veterinary resource of peer reviewed clinical information including text, pictures, videos and sounds for subsets Canis, Felis, Equis, and Lapis.

Canadian Veterinary Medical Association
The publications section includes position statements on current issues as well as a series on animal welfare. Some resources are restricted to CVMA members and students.
American Veterinary Medical Association
Resources include AVMA policies, reports, backgrounders, guidelines, career information, public health, and consumer information for pet owners. Some resources are restricted to AVMA members.
Canadian Animal Health Institute
Sections of this site include food animal facts, companion animal facts, and links, including many Canadian sites, for topics such as animal welfare, antibiotic resistance, aquaculture, dairy, and beef.

Based at the University of Nottingham, this site provides "information about on-going projects and useful resources for the veterinary profession to promote the use of Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine principles." VetSRev is a database of citations for systematic reviews of relevance to veterinary medicine and science. The database BestBETs for Vets contains reviews of current best evidence for simple, common and specific clinical questions.
